How I Wore It: Blahh Rain Boots - Modesty Theory

I woke up this morning and it was pouring like mad.  I was about to go back to bed, thinking I'd rather skip class then get soaked...but then I remembered my blah rain boots.  I put on my determined face, and as if Tim Gunn was right there encouraging me, I decided to "Make It Work".

Bright colors make for even brighter rainy days!  You can't feel blahh in bright orange.  This outfit didn't make me feel short and choppy like I normally feel when I wear these boots.  I felt like the bright colors and floral print totally took my rain boots from drab to fab.  I'm actually glad I had blah boots.  If they were any more interesting, this outfit wouldn't have worked.  The boots would have been competing for attention with the brights.
