Update: Mashallah, I've gotten quite an overwhelming amount of bloggers who would like to participate and spaces have filled much quicker than I would have expected. Therefore, I will not be taking anymore Hijabi Fashion Week participants :(
ok so this month i'm sooo excited! WHY you ask?
well first, I'll be participating in Kendi Everyday's 30 for 30 Challenge. I've gotta pick 30 items (head scarves aren't part of the count which is great because it would be even harder than it already is if it was!) and wear only those 30 items for 30 days. And NO SHOPPING is allowed w/in these 30 days. That's the best part since I'm a serious shopoholic... This is gonna help me find new and creative ways to wear what I already have and as Kendi says "shop your own closet" :]
and 2nd I'm hosting our first ever Hijabi Fashion Week!
so all my HFW looks, are gonna be part of my 30 for 30 challenge looks! I'M SO EXCITED. mashallah i've got a ton of participants and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's looks.
